    Better wake prop

I'm looking to get another prop for my 2003 sante 210. I mainly wakeboard and wake surf. Wanting to get some of y'all perspective on what's a good size for what I wanna do.

I've heard really good things about the acme 1464 and 1578 (replaced the 1464 according to deltaprops). If you go to deltaprops, there is a coupon code form this forum.

w/ that prop, it will get on place really fast but sacrifices top end (so couldn't really barefoot if you do that occationally...)

The other one that has been recommended is the 644 -- but I don't know as much about it. From the sounds of it -- it doesn't sacrifice the top end quite as much, but has to work harder w/ a lot of ballast...

If you are into hardcore Watetsports, and a 38mph wide open speed is OK... Acme 2315 period.

Isn't the 2315 too large of a diameter for that year, does it clear enough to not burn the gell coat under the boat?

        Thanks,
        Ben

1235 if you are OK with 40MPH top-end and a small amount of prop burn. The prop burn doesn't affect anything and no one will ever know it is there.

Oh -- I guess the 2315 is suppose to be 1235...that makes more sense (heard of that)

I looked up the 2315 on delta props -- and it was another .5 bigger (15) than the 1235...

            Thanks for the clarification,
            Ben

Just to clarify the OPs boat spins a RH prop and the 2315 and 1235 are both LH props. All Acme props will have even numbers for RH and odd for LH. The 644was the stock Team prop for that boat and is a good all around prop but the 1464 or 1234 will be much quicker out of the hole if you are running heavy ballast. The 1234 might cause some gel coat burn.

LOL, a 2315 would make for some monster holeshots in reverse tho!

well in that case, look at the ACME 2078. same 14.5" dia size as a 1235/1234..... but pitched and cupped like a 2315. They dont even offer a 15" 2315 equiv for RH.

This will turn your boat into a F350 dually. I would like to see pics of prop burn.

If prop burn is of concern... by being only 1/4 closer to the hull, the most aggressive 14" prop is the 2132.... you'll likely be at 39ish WOT on that.

I'm thinking about trying the 1846 - you might consider that. Gets you a 14" prop with 14.25 pitch and .150 cup.

I've just read about it -- but here is a pic I found on this forum:

There seems to be some misinformation here. Are you guys running 14.5" Dia. props on OG 210's?? Ive got the 1236 on my 01 210 and would not go any bigger than 13.5" Dia. Call Acme.

Which part is the prop burn? the black marks??? thats where the rudder goes thru right? the prop would have been cenetered between those 2 squares right?

That is some CRAZY prop burn! My 1235 just kind of pitted the fiberglass about 1/4 inch deep and like a 1/2 inch in diameter. Nothing this extreme.

Just install a 1464 and be done with it. Replaced the 644 on my '05 the week after I got the boat and it was like night and day. 2500# ballast and no issues at all.
