What glue to use for new warning decals on either side of stereo remote at helm?

I purchased replacement decals that go on either side of the clarion remote on my 2008 SN 206.

To my surprise they do not have an adhesive back for peel and stick onto the chrome bezel/plate that surrounds the remote left of the steering wheel.

Anyone know what kind of glue the factory uses to adhere these to the chrome?

    Thanks!

Why bother? I put fake ABS carbon fiber panels that I cut up on all my helm warning labels. Looks much better than any warning label. In fact, I've ripped off all my CC warning labels.

I also have removed all the warning labels on my boat and stuck them on a plastic sheet in case the next owner wants to see them. But to answer the OPs question I would venture to guess that the factory used a silicon adhesive. I know that is what they used to hold down things like cup holders and bilge outlets so it wouldn't suprise me if they used the same stuff for warning placards. If you email White Lakes they will probably be able to answer definitively.

I'm not sure which glue I would use. You might check an auto parts store for some 3m spray adhesive. That's strange they don't have peel and stick

I would use those new decals as templates and go the fake carbon fiber way. Looks much better on my boat. Jig saw to cut the plastic and some sand paper to smooth the edges. Easy. Use either silicone or that AME adhesive.

I pulled mine off and cleaned the existing glue with goo-gone. I was surprised to find there was no damage to the underlying panel...so I left it like that without applying fake carbon fiber, etc.

To the OP, I think 3M spray adhesive is a good idea. Or perhaps a silicone adhesive so you can remove at a later date if you decide you don't want the decals.

How about posting some pictures of what you have done? Would love to see the carbon fiber look.

Have been searching on ebay for carbon fiber decals - lots to choose from.

I have decided to go with Carbon fiber instead of the warning decals - thanks for the idea!!
              Thanks!
