Anybody have a SAN or super sport near Illinois?

I am trying to decide between buying a super sport or a mastercraft 205v. I have ridden behind an 08 x1 and an 05 x2 which are all the same hull but I have never ridden behind a SAN or super sport hull. I live by Decatur Il and I'm willing to drive wherever to get a set behind a nautique to make sure that's what I wanna buy.

I got gas money. Let me know!

hey bud, I can help you out a little with these wakes. I'm not a really advanced rider but I can throw a backroll, tantrum, scarecrow and 360s pretty much 80% of the time without a problem. The 205v hull and the SAN 210 or super sport hull have VERY similar wakes. I can tell you from experience we get a little better surf wave out of the 210 than the 205V I think it's b/c of the way the 210 hull tapers so much at the transom. As far as wakeboarding we were running 750s in the back and 650 up front on both boats at 22-23MPH usually at 70-75 ft. The main difference is the 210 is just a tad bit steeper. Both of these have a ridiculous wake that any rider could throw almost all of there tricks with the exception of the double wake to wake flips. I rode behind my friends 2003 X2 (205V) for several years before I bought my 03 SAN 210. Some of the main differences is the Nautique has the either side gas caps for filling from either side of boat and the MC didn't have it on the x2 during that year. However, MC was running reversible ballast puppies and Nautique has one way pumps which require opening and closing valves instead of simply pushing a button to fill or empty. This is of course going to be boat specific but I would love to not have to flip valves everytime to fill my boat up, its super annoying when you've got a boat full of newbies. That being said I think you'll be happy with either of these boats. It's a tough call one way or the other, it came down to price for me. I couldn't find a 205V hull with perfect pass in good condition for 30K or less so it was a no brainer. Hope this helps. If you wanna ride behind a SAN just come on down to south GA.

Dockside Marine in Wilmington. Nautique dealer but runs across trade ins. Family owned and he can do almost anything.

its right off I-55. I used to ski in Wilmington and in Decatur at the PITS. It's not a bad drive.
