probably not - the hot water should go through the headers and out the exhaust pipe. the hose probably was before or just after the raw water pump.

I had a 1" hose disconnect in my engine compartment at a rapid rate and the water coming out was hot so I was just curious. Someone said it might be a shower or heater. My keypad has both of those buttons but I have no idea if I actually have either.

You might want to clean the strainer if the raw water hose was disconnected somewhere before it. You may have sucked up some garbage from the bilge water.

I've seen engines FILLED with salt water and cleaned the next day and be as good as new....let them sit a few days and they will cease tighter than if you tried to cease it.
Will do! hopefully the weather here in the northeast cooperates.

It did not seem too hot at the time. But to be honest it could have been boiling and I probably would not have noticed.

Tranny fluid was clear. But vdrive looked milky. Not sure if they are the same. I remember the mechanic saying something about tranny and vdrive

It's gonna take a few oil changes to get that v-drive 'waterless'...

Fortunately not too much water got in the oil. Tranny is all clear. The vdrive needs to be flushed.

It was the the though the hull fitting that got loose.

My new problem is that the boat won't go above idle. Replaced the potentiometer and that did not fix it. The dealer is going to see if it through se codes. If not he is at a loss. Gonna have to call PCM and ask them. Anyone have an idea?

That's horrible. I had water coming in where the hull and deck connect on both sides in the rear.

Always open up and double check everywhere, dealer also told me the heater core is thin as a potato chip so be very careful winterizing.

theres got to be a sensor that got wet.
