    200V Wake Set Up HELP??

It looks like a buddy of mine is about to pull the trigger on a 200V. Does anyone have an idea on the BEST wakeboard set up in that boat? What amount of weight and where. I think he is getting the base ballast system.

I have a 200v and we love it. You can ski well behind it and slalom like it's the 196 of days past. Boat handles well, surfs well, and boards well. It's a very versatile boat.

For surfing we fill the belly ballast and the surfer side with the wake gate pulled back. The boat is not a 210 or a G so you need to move people around, put them on the surf side. I'm 230 lbs and surf on a Broadcast, riding up down and over the roost. Start slow, around 9.5, get in the groove, once riding free of line slowly bump to 10.5.

Boarding with a pro a couple weeks ago, stock tanks filled and he did wake flips forward and reverse. Wake gate back. I'm sure you could change the tanks to larger ones but the wake seems large enough for us now. That being said, if we are done traditional skiing the 210 could be on the horizon.

I get that I have seen pros do that behind an outboard just curious what extra people may be adding to get the best wakeboard wake out of this boat.

The stock ballast is not bad but we run bags on top of the stock. 400 in each locker plus a v bag in the bow that I fill half way so about 400 up front. That puts out a respectable wake.

for wakeboarding we do stock ballast, plus 400 in each locker, 400 in the nose, and its a pretty good wake at 75ft and 18-23mph

its weight sensitive so for surfing the more weight the better ! dont forget the nose, with weight in the back and 400 in the nose it throws a very surfable wake
