So this past weekend after finally getting the boat into the water (2011 200v ex343) the warnings began to come on for hot coolant..
After taking it to the marina and days of searching they finally found the problem.. the circulation pump was shot. PCM kept telling them to check other parts and finally said the pump after a few days. There had been a recall for the pump BUT NOT for my engine, the numbers didnt fall into the recall.
PCM will replace it all and pay for all costs to replace it.
After checking the engine diagnostics this had caused the exhaust manifolds to heat up 5-7 times and the engine once. PCM says this will not cause any long term damagae
just letting you guys know just incase you may want to get your water ciruclation pumps checked out since even though they may NOT be on the recall they could still go.
