I've not seen that yet. Every ding dong I've taught....still wants to toob.

My 7 year-old is a wakeboarder now and can go out and back in on either side of the wake.

my 4 year-old is just beginning to ski, this past week he went 50 feet or so on his own.

We have recently used the inflatable ski trainer in teaching for the behind the boat orientation and then progressed to skis then wakeboarding.

Seems like it's working well for the children who are ready to go.

I still have a towable or two for the days when we invite the younger cousins and friends. As much as I dislike the toobs, we have had success in getting people from the toob to board in a day just going through the progression.
