I am getting a new air 216 TE this week. I would like to christen the boat and was wondering if anyone had information regarding christening ceremonies (what to say, when to break the champaign across the bow, etc.)- any info would be appreciated.

RE: christening a new air nautique 216
If you are, I wouldn't use anything but a bottle of SpringValley water, lest you defeat the purpose. :o  Mike2007 Ski Nautique 196 Limited/ PP/ Mods

In 02, 4 of us went out for a "formal" christening of a buddy's
new Air Nautique. He stood at the bow with a bottle of champagne,
said his words - - - Then we drank the champagne. Worked for us.

Guess I scr-wed up. Gave the wife the bottle & she got "plastered". I slept on the couch while she "blew chunks" in the bathroom! OF\"The voices aren\'t real...but they have some good ideas.\"
