I would guess we should know more in the next 2 weeks as I can't see them missing the opportunity to have something together for 2014 for WWA Nationals on the 25th, even if its just the tweaks to the 210 and 230. Although they didn't have anything for Wake Games other than having NSS on the demo boats and that was on their home turf. Last year they announced the G23 well in advance of it being used in the event but they did have the G25 demoed for Nationals prior to any official notice through the site. I have noticed that they haven't sent out the boat list yet for the event, but it is a wakeboard event so lack of info is par for the course but nobody really expects anything but a 210 for the youngins and amateur women and G23 for the Men and Pros.

I am disappointed in the lack of 2014 model information. Not because I am in the market, but because it mildly concerns me regarding management of CC. Model year deadlines do not move or creep up on you. Good management will get all model changes, vendor contracts, and promotional materials down before a model year switch. The fact that you can only order a 2014 boat at this time yet CC has no promotional information available, their web site is not updated, and they have released no data and requested dealers not divulge any additional info, suggests that they are still making changes or negotiating with vendors.
I know, its not the end of the world, CC is still a great company, many companies have late model announcements, etc...... Being late does not mean their quality has slipped. But I went with CC because they usually do not suffer from this type of problem. They are usually on top of their production.
The fact that CC actually had functional G23s when they announced them and that you could order one essentially when they announced them, was a positive sign that production management was sound.
So this lack of being timely with information is disappointing. Again, does not necessarily mean any thing. But as any MC owner who boat a boat between 2008 and 2012 will tell you, problems in timely production decisions and information dissemination can trickle down to poor quality control decisions. Probably will not happen here, but I hope CC takes actions to make sure they are a little more ahead of the curve for the 2015 model year.

You guys see the press release from today? Kind of makes sense in that light, sounds like they can't make enough to keep up with the expected demand... Its on top of the PN home page and available in pdf (http://www.planetnautique.com/Correc...s/pr/pr194.pdf) but I copied the relevant section is below.
"ORLANDO, FLA (July 12, 2013) — Today Nautique announced they are increasing production resulting in hiring fifty new employees due to high demand of the award winning G-Series, the 2014 product line-up and the continuing expansion of global sales.
The demand for Nautique boats has steadily increased but spiked materially after the launch of the award winning Super Air Nautique G23 and G25. Additionally, Nautique dealers recently viewed the 2014 Nautique product line-up and based on their reviews; the dealer commitment levels are well in excess of current production capacity. Finally, Nautique’s strategic initiatives to develop global markets have resulted in record international sales..."

In such a competitive market as the wakeboard boat industry, I believe that it would be a mistake to announce a new model and not have it available immediately (i.e. mastercraft last year). Nautique seems to be holding off on new announcements of the 2014 line because they do not have the production capability at this point to accept customer orders and produce boats for those orders without a untimely wait. The new models are designed, the molds are made, and they will be announced soon from what I understand. The hiring of new employees is a good sign in that CC sees a long term rise in overall production. Long term vision is always better than short term instant gratification.Eric, Phoenix AZ

I obtained official information today on the G23/G25 changes for 2014. Official meaning a very reliable source but since I'm not clear as to if this is supposed to be for public consumption I'll just leave it at that. I may be forgetting something and/or he may have left something out, but here's what I was told/remember:
There will be a "Surf style exhaust" that is standard. Its basically a fresh air exhaust. I confirmed its not an option, but standard. He did not know yet if 2013s will be able to upgrade.
XM will be a factory option
Bluetooth will finally come on the boat (I assume standard but he didn't say that)
You will be able to choose from 4 optional deck colors. So if you want to really customize your look, this would be a way to go. He did say this option will be quite expensive, in the $3,500 range.
The single boat cover is going away. You now choose between a tower-down cover and a tower-up cover. Honestly this makes no sense to me and I hope they change their mind, the dual-option cover is cool.
Exterior color changes:
1 of the 2 Blue colors is changing, the new color will be called Royal Blue and will be a very nice looking color IMHO.
Green will now be available with flake.
Purple is now available, both with and without flake.
Yellow is changing to a more pale yellow (I was hoping for the opposite to a more canary yellow).
Cheers,
