gauge defaults on 2003 SAN Limited

Does anyone know how to set the digital gauge on the right to always start at water depth? Mine randomly starts with some screen that says xxx or something like that instead of temp, depth, or anything useful. The only thing I use on a regular basis is water depth and every time I start it I have to scroll through. I know it's no biggie but if there is a way, it's sure save me some time especially when I have other boat drivers who aren't so button savvy.

My 2003 right gauge (speedo) always powers on to the depth. My left gauge (tach) always powers on to the hour meter. What does your left gauge display when you power on? I had to have my gateway box replaced under warranty a few times and both times the gauges always came back to the same power on displays. The tach gauge holds the hour meter, not the gateway box. the XX display should have a P or S with it. This is for displaying which pressure pickup is sensing the speed (as it has been explained to me in the past). P is port and S is starboard. I'm not sure if there is anyway to change the way the display defaults. You may want to call Correct Craft, but I'm pretty sure they are going to recommend replacing the gauge or gateway box.
