    Tower on 91-94 Barefoot/Excel pics??

Does anyone have pics of different towers on 91-94 V-drive Nautiques? Looking to put one on my 91 BF, but not sure what to go with. Really liked the titan on my former 230. (miss that boat :/)

this is my buddy's excel. It's a custom tower so it doesn't fold but it looks like it belongs on it.

Go with diywake.com you can't beat the deal for a tower and two board racks for 1100. Their new tower with the cross beam is super sturdy. I had their gen 1 tower on my sea ray and it worked great.

There is one on my lake that I will try to snap a pic of if they are out this weekend. I think it looks pretty good. I am not positive what tower it is but I think it might be this Skylon X-Tower:

It seems to fit the boat well and looks waaay better than a Monster in my opinion.

Mark is putting a shortened FCT3 on his 91 footer. Should look pretty awesome. The 200 center section is the correct width to fit perfectly on the gunnels of a excel or a footer.

How is the wake behind the excel? I've read conflicting opinions on if an excel is on par with the 82-89 2001

I've ridden behind both slammed. I'd go with the excel b/c the wake is as good or better than the 2001 but you've still got room for people on the inside. I love the 2001 SN wake but lets be honest here. With a 750 across the back and at least 400s on both sides of the dog box there's pretty much no room for anyone except driver, rider, and of course the wakeboarder. Either way you're going to want a tower or a tall pylon with racks to get the boards out of the way.

This is my first 91 V drive, but I remember a buddies from about 10 years ago, and it had a nice wake. Not as steep as the 2001 hulls but still good if I remember right. What I can't wait for is to take a hot lap on my feet behind this baby!
Gotta find a 145degree thermostat now...
