looking at used 2012 and 2013 SANTEs....how does the warranty transer?

Im looking at a few used 2013 boats and was wondering if the full warranty will transfer to me. One dealer told me its $100.00 to transfer warranty and then you get the full bow to stern warranty as well as the powertrain warranty, is this true? Will this warranty still work for any dealer?

Check the back of the manual for the model year(s) you're considering... The warranty description and transfer forms are there. For 2011 it is 300 each to transfer Hull/deck/stringer and parts warranties to second owner.

yep, that sounds like what i paid last year. well worth it. i got 3 or 4 new seats due to rips in vinyl, and a bunch of seat pistons, a clarion remote...tons of piece of mind and time to really check things out. and of course the lifetime hull stringer is a no brainer.

so $300 for the warranty to transfer and that covers the bow to stern like if I were buying it new? So interior/electric/gel coat issues would be covererd also?

I would read the owners manual it will tell you exactly what is transferable and for how long.

I spoke to Nautique today and they said that the warranty through PCM is seperate and that is a full warranty. The bow to stern warranty is just for parts, no warranty on labor.

Is the lifetime structural warranty still separate? I remember 3 transfers in total: CC parts, CC structural, PCM

Also, gel may not be covered after the transfer....and obviously most of the work is labor anyway. It might be covered if caused by a failing structure and you have the Lifetime structural transfer.

I'm thinking though, one of us will probably win the warranty before a modern CC structure fails due to defects.
