super sport with or without Python

I'm looking at a few 1999 super sports and one has a python, not sure if I should spend the extra coin and go with that one.

I boat on a huge lake(about 80miles long by about 3miles wide) that can be very choppy. I have 3 children under 5 generally always on the boat with me, so going fast is never really something we do. We would use the boat primarily for wake surfing, a little wakeskate, wakeboarding and some very slow tubing.

Would we notice enough of a difference to justify getting the one with the python?(assuming boats are the same, just different engines)

The Python is an awesome motor and I absolutely love my boat but its certainly not needed and it is LOUD since it has no muffler and dual exhaust.. The GT40 is an amazing motor as well and is plenty powerful enough for that boat. The python is worth a premium but I would base my decision more on condition, hours and price as both are great motors.

The 320 hp Apex (GM) motor was also available in 1999. I have one in my 1999 SAN and actually like it quite a bit better than the GT-40 I had in my 1995 Sport--it's not as temperamental, more people know how to work on it, and parts are more readily available (at least in my limited experience).
