    Slalom wake of 94 SNOB

I am looking at a 94 SNOB, and am wondering how the wake compares (size, rooster tail, etc) with what I am use to. I have a 90 PS190 with almost no wake, and no rooster, and I ski @ 34-35 mph @ 22-28 off. Also, how much bigger is the wake @ 29mph for the wife and kids. I really like the build quality and tracking of nautiques but am concerned about the pre-TSC hulls???

RE: Slalom wake of 94 SNOB

    I don't think a 94 SNOB has worse slalom wake than a 90 PS190. 91 - 94 MC 190 hull is another thing.

Tracking of the 94 SNOB is much better and with head wind you're going to ski much better too: no spray.

How about comparing the slalom wake of a 94 SNCB to a early 90's PS190. Any help is appreciated!!

I have a '95 SN and the wake at 15 off/34 mph is very good, slight bump, but not a performance issue at all. At 15 off/32 mph, you are actually behing the rooster tail and it looks bigger than it ends up being at 34 mph. At 22 off and 28 off the wake is awesome. I ski with a friend that has a '91 PS190 (I know your's is a '90) and while his 15 off wake is a touch nicer, he likes 22 off on my Nautique much better. My wife skis around 29 mph too, and she slices right through the wakes. I would not hesitate to get an early '90's SN. I would just stay away from the SN2001 models of the '80's unless you love to wakeboard.

I have a 93 and with long-line at 28-32mph the wake is nil. I've skied behind the 92 and it's the same. I think it's the same hull from 90-94.

thanks for the feeback. Unfortunately the boat I was looking at sold over the weekend. It seemed like a good deal @ 13,500 with perfect pass.
I will continue to search for another one from the same era. By the way, I skied behind an 05 196 w/ the excalibur engine today. WOW, what a piece of art. wish I had 40K to get one...
