    NSS on a '11 210?

When I last spoke to my dealer (Silver Spray) they thought that CC was going to be developing a software upgrade that would allow my to add NSS to my 2011 SANTE with the original LINC system. Since that time, I have heard nothing. Anybody know if this is going to happen??

The following if from the recent Q and A. Greg Meloon answered the NSS compatibility question.

Jeff Carroll: Wakesurfing is becoming a HUGE sport! I can tell you that I have probably spent as much time surfing behind my G23 this year as I have wakeboarding. The NSS system is amazing! Is there any chance of the NSS being retrofitted onto other models, like the Sport 200, or the 210 or 230 from 2011 and prior?

Greg Meloon: The hull features of the Sport 200 are not compatible with the NSS Waveplates. Future products will be designed to integrate NSS in a similar way to the new 210/230. Pre-2012 models are challenged by the lack of a control system.

Well I sent a note to Nautique to inquire if they had any plans to offer a software upgrade for the original LINC system to allow the addition of NSS to my '11. Much to my chagrin, they have no plans to do so. Kind of shocking that they would design a system with no upgradability. Spend that kind of money and find out they have abandoned the technology one model year later??

Seriously, how much technology is required to open or close the NSS???

Just my guess, but it probably has to do with the safeties on the system. Linc 1 most likely didn't have the hardware capability of handling the programming. That's why it had such a short life. Linc 2 was made to control NCRS on the G's (among other things) and they used it across the fleet.
