2010 SAN230 fault codes please help

Hi,

I have a 2010 230 with a 409 motor, i have been getting the following fault codes popping up on my linc screen

% accel pos 2 volt below norm or short low
DTC2139: FPP1 LOWER THAN IVS
DTC2140: FPP2 LOWER THAN IVS
DTC2126; FPP1-2 HIGHER THAN EXPECTED

these fault codes are coming up pretty consistently. i have been getting the boat serviced by a local boat mechanic (not affiliated with nautique) and he doesnt seem to know what these are. The closest nautique dealer is about two hrs away. just wanting to know what i am in for and if i should take it down to them sooner rather than later. Any help is much appreciated

These codes are for the throtle position sensor. Ours went out earlier this year. If you don't get it changed at some point it will start putting the boat in limp mode.

From the manual looks like it could be replaced pretty easily...

code details for your mechanic:

DTC 2139 FPP1 Lower than IVS - IVS off idle and FPP1is less than 0.60 Vdc. Possible short to voltage on the
FPP1 circuit (ECM pin 9 / TCP pin 5) or short to ground
on the IVS circuit (ECM pin 48 to TCP pin 8), or defective
TCP.


DTC 2140 FPP2 Lower than IVS - IVS off idle and FPP1
is less than 0.27 Vdc. Possible short to voltage on the
FPP1 circuit (ECM pin 9 / TCP pin 5) or short to ground
on the IVS circuit (ECM pin 48 to TCP pin 8), or defective
TCP.


DTC 2126 FPP1 Higher than FPP2 - FPP1 % is 20%
greater than FPP2 %.

I just got these codes on my boat too. Mine is a 2008 SA230. I only have 170 hours on the boat (yes - super low - I bought it 2015 with 74 hours on it).

My dealer read the codes but did not have any insight for me. They would have to do research so I figured I would spend my time researching instead of them doing the same.
