Help shaping wake for surfing 01' pro air

New to Nautique ownership, need some help here. Purchased an 01' Pro-Air for wakeboarding and surfing. Couple of issues:1) we surf regular and want to surf on passenger side of the boat. Despite positioning fat sacks on that side, can not get the wake to clean up on passenger side. Local shop said it was because of the direction the prop turns? Is there anything we can do to correct this? 2) we have four 400 lb fat sacks that we use, in addition to the two built in ballast tanks, and normally only have three people in boat (including driver). We're having difficulty losing the wake when we let go of the rope. I'm the biggest rider 6'1, 192 lbs, have good beginner board that's the right size. Wondering if it's the wake size that's the issue. Any suggestions on sac placement, speed, etc for this boat? Any advice appreciated.

Yeah the boat has a better starboard wake due to the prop rotation. However the wake on either side is nothing to write home about. You can get it big with weight but the pocket is very short with little push. They seem to like a lot of weight in the rear corner. We do a 400 lb sac in corner of trunk and 600 lb sac in walkway next to engine cover and also usually 350 lb in ski locker with everyone on surf side.

It is definitely rideable but the pocket is still only like a foot long and you have to ride pretty close to the boat. It was fun for awhile to ride rope less but I have pretty much reserved myself to wakeboarding behind the boat as it is more challenging and rewarding. Boat throws a really nice wake with 1500 lbs or so too.

Hmmm, that's what I was afraid of. Is it ok to put fat sacs in the rear trunk? Heard somewhere that platform wouldn't support fat sacs? Thanks for the reply.
