    210 vs 230 operating costs

I'm considering this change. Can anybody who has made this move comment on fuel usage? Even if its just roughly speaking?
    Is 5-8 GPH the ballpark?
What about towing and gas in the truck? Would you say you burn a little more, alot more, or couldn't even tell?

Can't give you anything on the 210 but my 230 burns roughly 4 GPH and when we are towing we get ~11MPG. Of course the truck gas mileage will vary from truck to truck. I am using a 2014 Sierra.

I also see ~4GPH in my 230 and 11MPG with a Denali when towing it.

You sure you guys are only 4??? I sure seem to think I'm more at about 6 with a 210? Are you running any extra ballast?

I run the factory ballast for wakeboarding and a piggy-back 400 for surfing. Mine is just a rough calculation. We did it like: we were out X hours and burned X gas. So it may be closer to 4.5 because if we spend 5 hours on the water then ~30-45 minutes is spent just hanging out. One thing I do know for sure is that on a 5 hour boating day we burn ~20 gallons.

Yeah diff people have diff ways they calc it or what they call an hour. I tend to view it as the time spent pulling someone.

Another way to look at it is for me on my 210 it's about 3 gals per set.

With that said I still find it hard to believe that people are burning 10gals a set behind a G! Crazy!
