    Tower Bimini for '00 SAN

Looking to get a tower bimini for my '00 SAN. Anyone have any ideas on what I should get? I'd prefer a clamp-on style as oppose to drilling holes in my tower for mounts, and would also prefer not dropping a grand on it. I have the FCT2.

I've been thinking about ordering one of those Monster Tower cargo racks and their universal mounts so I don't have to drill into my tower. Don't know much about them though.

You can purchase universal clamps at Monstertower, and then order a bimini that will fit inside of your tower legs. You should look for something along the lines of 16" tall or so. Several online retailers offer tower bimini's for much less, but your still going to spend 400-600.00 for something with sunbrella and stainless hardware.

The monster cargo rack is made by their sister company Great Lakes. The z-5 cargo Bimini is also part of the same conglomeration. The monster cargo rack looks like a pretty good value to me, just read their suggestions on towing speeds and storage if your tower is folded.

+1 for tower Bimini. My boat came with one and I love it. My buddy put one on his '04 and it is great too. No straps!

Tower bimini makes a great product, but if your budget cant swing it there are some viable options that still function and look well.

Thanks for the direction fellas. I'll start by checking into the above options. I like the idea of no straps as well.

                      Another option.

Also check with local canvas shops about getting a custom bimini. You might also contact Apex http://www.apexcanvas.com/products.htm or westland...http://www.westlandcovers.com/ or check the monster dimensions to see how theirs would fit..... they mostly use clamps.. Keep in mind that any fastener style can be used with a clamp instead of drilling into your tower.
