    G23 planing time + G21?

Hey new to this forum sorry if I'm doubling up, just questions about the G, I'm coming from a mastercraft x2 and am looking for a boat that is hassle free, full stock ballast and ride, due to the variety of riders I will not be filling any additional ballast, from what I've heard and seen stock is amazing anyway, I have always had smaller boats and in physical size an mc x2 is tiny in comparison to a g23, in a perfect world I would love a g21 but nobody seems to know the release date of them or if they are even coming out,

my main concern of the g23 is the time it takes to get on plane, both without any ballast and with full stock ballast as I've never really had much time in ski boats of that size, videos of both would be awesome or even just some advice with what to expect planing time wise compared to my 350hp x2 and g23 which I would get with the 450hp, I wouldn't want to go 550 because of cost to buy and cost to run. Thanks

Do you bomb your x-2? The last one I rode with the 350 and 4sacks didn't get in the plane very quickly. If you search the forums some one did some timings to see how long it took to get a 14 spec G23 with the 450 onto the plane.

I was keen to wait on a G21 but in the end I couldnt wait any longer and ordered a G23 with the 550. You only live once.

You may want to check out the new 2014 210 and 230 I have not seen them yet but the pics look very interesting. Make sure you get the NSS on whatever boat you choose.

Holy cow we demoed a G23 here yesterday at Lauderdale Lakes Marina which had the 550 and let me tell you that boat is the real deal! In my opinion the stock wake is better than anything out stock vs stock. And I'd be will to be it a better than anything out that's loaded with ballast it's just that good! It's no comparison to a x-2 I didn't car if you out 5k in that x-2 still no comparison! This boat planned super quick and who ever is spitting out bad information about how it handles has never driven one! We had to make some very hard turns fully loaded due to the lake we were on and that boat stayed locked in and turned on a freaking dime! I've been in many smaller boats from the major brands that couldn't turn like that G did! Amazing product! Thanks Travis at Lauderdale Lakes!

Just got off the water this AM, first time out in my new 2014 G23 550. 4hrs of surfing.

The only way to describe it is HOLY CRAP. Speechless.

major difference in power, yes.... That's expected. Quieter from the surf pipe... BIGTIME quiet.

most shocking is how smooth it is.... VELVET smooth. No vibration. The only way you can tell it went in gear is if you watch the RPMs drop and feel the acceleration of the FWD idle. SMOOTH. Surfing behind it, you might hear 10% boat noise, else the other 90% is waves crashing behind you!

42mph wide open, so quiet you can talk across the boat in a soft voice!

the Polk Stereo A+++ !!! 1000x better than the clarion. And AlL the radio functions are now avail in the link. NICE!

Bill Yeargin - your team nailed it here. This will go down as a "golden era" in the Nautique line up. Not sure how anything could be improved. That good.
