You will love it! shoot me a PM and I'll help you out!

For winterization, download the manual from PCM. Closed loop systems are easy to maintain!!!!

I have a ZR6 in my 04 and it makes winterization very easy. I have a full flush kit, meaning there is a hose fitting on the transom, so I can flush water through to clean it out. Then there is one fitting at the low point of the hoses that you pull and it drains all the water out of the raw water side of the cooling. The engine is closed cooled, so you don't worry about the block, and the dexcool lasts years, but just test it to make sure it is up to spec.

Other than that, I do an oil change, fuel filter (FCC), pull impeller (so it doesn't set), pull belt (to relieve tension), spray things I don't want to get stuck with Boe-shield and then I am done. It is an afternoon of work if I have time, or a couple of evenings if I break it up, but gets easier after the first one.
