    230 Options

Could you all please give me some help...I am moving up (and over). I just sold my 2003 MC X9 and I am shopping for 230's. Since I am not as familiar with Nautiques it is hard for me to know what all options were available and compare boats. It seems like everyone wants to call theirs loaded, but I am sure there are various levels of loaded.

Is there an options list available that I can scan through and see which boat has what or is missing what? I am familiar enough to pickup on the larger items like engine upgrades, NSS, etc. but the smaller details are lost on me and might be important?

    Thanks in advance!

Most of them are team edition boats which means they are loaded short of a heater and shower. Find the one you like.

Call your local dealer and ask them for an order sheet... Ir go to the boat builder feature on the Nautique website. The first is much more descript.

I was in the 09-10 range but the NSS has me thinking I should take the plunge 12-13

I was in your boat ( pun intended ) a couple of years ago ( 2011 ) and was looking for 210's from 2008 -2010. The towers were the deal breaker for me as the older ones didn't fold down as low and we needed that for the dock and the barn. We wound up buying new and never regreted it. Two or three year old Nautiques hold their value pretty well so new ones can be bought for not that much more, especially if you shop around, plus this time of year can be good for purchasing also.

Also keep in mind the great warranty Nautique provides (3 yrs for most parts, 5 yrs for other). Especially if you are interested in the NSS, I would look a the more recent years. The colder months are obviously better for a good deal. Also, if you are not in a hurry, waiting for the latest models to be announced should enable you to get a bargain, especially when dealers need to make space on their lots.
I suggest making a list of your "must have" options/colors and then being flexible to what you find on the market.

I think I figured it out. Buy a 2014! I really like the updated 230.

                    limegreen,

                    We just bought a 2014 230, 37 hours so far. We've had a X-30 and a 2013 233 Enzo, the NSS is amazing! Get the 409HP.

Well that's very kind! I will ask my wife if she wants to. She might bring her slalom ski and see how big that bump is. We know it'll be bigger than our old direct drive, but to be honest it (MC X9 2003) it wasn't all that great of a ski wake, relative to direct drive expectations.

Not a great pic. Think we were doing about 24 mph.

                              limegreen,

go to Nautique dealer and get an options sheet so you can see everything thats available to order -- this is what we did wen ordering our 2012 Super Air Nautique 230 team edition with ZR409.

Highly recommend a team edition -- highly recommend a 409 -- love my transom stereo remote -- trash can option is a must -- I got most everything except the fire surpression system I think....good luck.
