Whenever Ronix releases their new pumps and sacs that would be a quick and easy alternative to plumbing. They have advertised their pump filling an 1100 pound sac in 3 minutes. That is why I have not plumbed mine yet.

They are also trapezoidal which would minimize the pressure placed on the V-drive locker wall.

Remember though, that the boat is rated for 16 people or 2500 pounds, in addition to stock ballast. So really, those running extra ballast are not doing anything more than what the boats are designed and rated to do. Some people might be just a couple hundred pounds over that mark, but not much.

          Jay,
How many people are typically in your boat when you ride? It is always hard to compare wakes via video, but I imagine that ours is close to that when we cave full ballast and 10 or so in the boat. Obviously the placement of the weight would be different, I havent convinced my girlfriend that she needs to lay in an underseat locker (although there are days I have tried).

Let me know when you figure that magic phrase! I'll try and use it as well.

Typically there are just two passengers. Once we start getting more than that (depending on their size), I'll subtract weight out of midship seats.
I agree that placement of the weight can be a key component.

ID:	367290I plumbed in 2 sacs in the back rear lockers and love it. Drilled holes in the and have additional pumps and additional switches in the cockpit. I mainly only use the weight either for surfing or to level the boat out. It is fun to ride loaded down but the wake is so good with stock ballast and 700 extra pounds and the gas efficiency is great there. Any more weight and gas starts getting guzzled.

Very interesting. I'd love to see what the switches in the cockpit look like. Did you just use the same type of pumps as come stock for your secondary system? This sounds like a cool solution b/c it will really cut down on the fill time.

And along those lines, does anyone know if you can simply program the LINC system to accept another set of ballast pumps? Could plumb in something like this: http://www.wakemakers.com/impeller-p...st-system.html and instead of crappy looking aftermarket switches could just have it integrated into the existing screen?

I believe you can. If you are not using features such as seat heater, heater, etc., I think you can program those unused features for other things.

And I thought i read that the new 210 has the ability for plug and play ballast and if that is true and if it runs the same screen then I would guess that it is possible. Anyone know who I could talk to about it?

I dont think it would be as easy as that.

Reversibles require 2 separate switches, one to fill and another to drain.... so HEATED SEAT ON would only fill. etc.

If you wanted to do extra pumps.... simple rocker switches mounted on an added panel under the dash would be the easiest route.

That added panel sounds like the most logical solution. Anyone have a pic of what that area under the dash looks like?

G25 - switches below the drivers armrest, so they are out of sight. Fly High W719 Jumbo Surf sacs in each rear locker, each with its own reversible pump to fill/drain. Much faster fill and drain time as opposed to doing a traditional "piggyback" sac install.

Oh wow that is fantastic. Did you get the dealer to do that or did you do it yourself? Did you have to cut/drill another thru hull for the fill/drain or did you use the existing hole? I am not sure if the stock pumps are using 100% of the capacity of the hole, but I would guess they are.

this is fantastic thanks for the pic so quick!
