Good deal?

This is my first post. I'm looking at buying a local 1997 super sport with 300 hrs. It's in min condition as I have already looked at it. Interior is flawless along with the hull. Has a tandem eagle trailer with brakes. He is asking 16,500. Wondering if it is a good deal.

Seems to be a pretty good price. I sold my 98 super sport in april with 600 hours for $17k. Mine had a FCT tower, board racks, and new stereo though. But I think in that condition the price is right. Buy it!

I would get possibly get a pressure check of the engine, and take a look at the maintenance records, but if it all checks out it looks like a great boat. Loaded down you will love the wake

I may do a compression check myself. I do know the guy well and he doesn't cut corners when Maintaining something

Compression check, that is what I meant, its been a long day. If you know the guy and are comfortable with it, I say go for it.

Turns out the boat only has 175 hrs!!!

That is a score....those deals on a clean, low hour boat like that are hard to find. I looked all last year, now u can pick up a tower/ballast and sound system of your choice. Good luck
