We recently purchased a leftover 2012 200v. Figured this boat would cover all basis... Turns out the surfing is our focus and im goofy. I'm done with filing and emptying another 1100lbs in bags for everyone else! So, I saw the 210 video with NSS and its A no brainer. The plan is to place the order this Tuesday. Trying to save a few bucks, is there a big difference between the standard cruise and the zero off? My 200 has the GPS/ZO and I love it, just never had the other system to compare it to. I know it sounds nuts and splitting hairs at this price point, but I had no intention of trading the 200v in 2 months later. I couldn't believe I spent what I did on that boat. As I type this, I've made my decision to go with the zero off. But, can someone please explain the difference. One is a paddle wheel and the other is GPS ? Thanks for your help!

Yeah the one in showroom is paddle wheel w/ NSS. Prob wouldn't be that big of an issue, but might as well build one. Summer is over! I went out this morn in CT and it was brutal with the wind.2014 SAN 210 TE

I can't speak of the Zero Off vs. Standard cruise control but I will say that the 210 surf wave is amazing with NSS! I've been on 210's without NSS and it is definitely the difference maker. Sounds like the 2014 210 is even better! Get as much ballast as you can...

We have standard nautique cruise on ours, used it for 3 years now with no problem. Biggest draw back is you cannot preset the speed. It works more like a car cruise. Get to speed, hit set and give it a little more throttle and you are done. Adjusting speed on the fly is no issue, just getting it set the first use if the day. It is the same cost to have the dealer add ZO after the fact so I say give it a try and if you don't like it add ZO later. That's the advice our dealer gave us and it saved us a couple grand.

I posted this on another thread also:

I run the 1235 prop, have 750's, a arrow sac in locker and if dont throw atleast 200lbs of lead in the nose it will struggle to plane but will eventually do it with the 1235. With the old 1579 prop it would never plane with the 750's full.

thanks stand corrected, did not know there was a choice with the NSS,had PP for years then changed to gps after they got the bugs out , would not go back to PP, GPS has alot less external moving parts, and can be set on the run..2013 G23 super air
