    Memorial Day Weekend

I know its late but I hope everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend.
We took a 4 day weekend and spent almost 12 hours over 2 of those days on the boat last weekend. I wakeboarded and tubed my *** off and tought two newbies to get up on a wakeboard.
I couldnt be happier with the boat's performance, I'm so stoked!
I did find a scratch or crack at the bow eye, but I wont know exactly what it is untill next week. But that doesnt dampen my enthusiasm as it will be fixed!

Anyway, I had to spout off. Yellow_Flash_Colorz:

    RE: Memorial Day Weekend

    Tubed?!?!

Just say no to tubers, it destroys perfectly good boats, I am sure that's what happened to your bow eye!

HA! I hope my 216 can take a little toobin!

And when we're toobin we have sense enough to stay out of the good ski/boarding waters...I wish everyone else was that cool. :|

The weather must have been better where you were. I also took a 4 day weekend and Friday and Saturday were the only descent days at Eufaula. The sun finally came out on Monday evening when I pulled the boat out. I almost got run over by a tuber when I was wakeboarding. It's all good though.

We stayed with some friends in Wagoner Thursday night and spent half the day on Ft Gibson Lake on Friday. It was sprinkling in the morning but let up by around 1PM so we decided to risk it and the Sun ended up coming out, no one was on the the lake at Ft Gibson and it rocked!!!

Then we went to Tenkiller on Sat, Sun and Mon. I messed around Sat morning and then went golfing on Sat afternoon, Its funny but Sat was the prettiest day and I didnt get out on the water...my wife took the boat out with her family for awhile Sat afternoon though.

Sunday morn started out looking bad but we risked it, my friends from Wagoner came to Tenkiller and brought sunshine with them. It ended up being a great day, the sun came out and we stayed out on the wter untill almost sundown.

          So yeah, we lucked out.

We didnt get out on the water on Monday.

I was also at Eufaula all Memorial day weekend. I made it a 4-day weekend, but I extended my weekend through Tuesday instead of taking the Friday before off. It was perfect because the sun came out on Monday (just like you said), and Tuesday was beautiful. Plus, most people who take 4-day weekends will take the Friday before instead of the Tuesday after, so there were hardly any people there on Tuesday.

We had a quick couple hours at one of our local lakes....Morse Resevoir...along with everyone in the northern half of the state with a boat over 23 feet long.

No boarding, skiing, tubing was to be done. We did get to play around in the no wake zone with the BI Boom and a friends 3 year old boy. He got to "wakeboard" (as he put it) on his dad's chest while a drug them around for 10 minutes at idle speed....he had a blast so it was worth it.

Oklahoma City and Tulsa are growing at an incredible pace. It's kinda exciting to see. Although - the pace of life here has not changed. :-) I like that though.
