    1996 ski nautique wake

    Hi everyone,
I have a 96 ski nautique 196 and had a couple wake questions. Is there any way I can improve the quality of the slalom wake. I don't mind the 15 and 22 line lengths, 28 off there is nothing there but once I get to 32 off there begins to be a trough/dip that that flexes the ski and gives me the feeling of going otf on the second wake. Then at 35 off there is a huge dip that I feel is quite unskiable. I haven't skied 38 off behind the boat as I am a 28 to 35 off skier thru the course. On other boats it seems that these shorter line lengths are much flatter. I don't mind a bump but when there is a dip it's a bit intimidating and makes me think more about the wake and less about the upcoming buoy. Does anyone have the same boat and experience the same issue? Would some weight distribution help or a prop change help? Any input would be greatly appreciated as I am considering selling the boat if I can't resolve this issue.

You could try putting some weight up in the nose. I don't think it takes much either. As I recall from a ballofspray post, a 25lb anchor or weight has done the trick.
