Is it worth it? 220 vs 230 surf wake.

Anyone had both boats or been on both boats that could really tell me the facts. We have a 220 and are considering
moving to the 230 for wake difference. We like the 220 and room for now isnt any issue(our boys are young). Im just at the point where I want to do more upgrades or change boats. I will not be buying an NSS boat. Not in my price range. Dont mind weighting with ballast to get what I want.

    Thanks

Depends if you're exclusively surfing. 220 surf wake is very good, I've ridden both a 220 and our 230, and the 220 will put out a very good surf wake, some would argue better than a 230. Also depends on which side you're surfing the most.
If wakeboarding wake is important, my opinion is the 230 then becomes the choice.

What are you interested in getting in a 230 that you don't have in the 220? Storage is better on the 230 (a little), and the bow is a little bigger.

Here's my opinion, but take it with a grain of salt since I never surfed behind my 220:

      230
      - More room in the bow as stated above
      - Wakeboard wake is better (IMHO)
      - Great surf wave with additional weight. Not really rideable stock unless you weigh less than 125 lbs. We run at least 1300 lbs of ballast over stock. Beauty is the wake is perfect when dialed in.
      - More easily accessible engine compartment depending on what year model you get (not sure of when they changed to a 3 way open hatch [port, starboard and all])
