    MT, definitely sounds like you have some wet foam, water = weight, not good for the slalom wake among other things so you should remove it, you will need to cut/remove the floor and then dig the foam out. Replace foam and glass up floor.

    If you decide to do it yourself I would suggest posting your questions on www.correctcraftfan.com, quite a few regulars there who have done full stringer jobs with new foam and new floors that should be able to answer all your questions.

      Another pic/video of the slalom wake posted by NCH2OSKI above (since I own his former boat now)- these pics are actually with a lot of gas in the boat and the wake gets a even better with 1/4 tank or less...and the wakeboarding wake is solid with a bag in the trunk and ski locker.

              Help with 1998 Sport Nautique

              5k for a Sport Nautique with the gt40 motor from a dealer? Be very careful. Sounds too good to be true.

                  Might be a blessing in disquise. I agree with the previous post that at 5k from a dealer it might be too good to be true.
