Picked up the PN G23 from White Lake yesterday and towed it home to Bristol. I was unsure how my truck would do pulling the G23 300 miles over Mt. Airy. It's a 2012 F150 Supercrew FX4 with Ecoboost. It towed it no problem. Somehow managed to get better mileage pulling it than I did my Super Sport. 11mpg compared to 10mpg with the SS. The Ram-Lin trailer is perfectly balanced, and the brakes worked great. The truck pulled effortlessly and did not gear-hunt at all. Anyways, the boat is great, and it is amazing how much more enjoyable an outing is when you actually have room to put all your stuff in storage compartments. The boat is deep and just comfortable to be in. Figuring out all the electronics with Linc takes some getting use to. It is weird not having any standard gauges. The 550 is more than enough power, and is very smooth. I think the part that everyone likes best about the boat is the Sea-Dek. That is usually the first thing my friends and family said they liked most about the boat. If anyone wants a pull feel free to stop in. Many thanks to White Lake Marine for their help and superior customer service as well as Jeff for making it happen!
I meant to take some pics of the boat today, but forgot. Sorry.
