    Sharing my Stoke

Decided to go seek out some new honey holes a couple weekends back, River selection in the DFW is literally dried up. First stop we loaded up and headed to the Trinity river just outside of Houston. The place was absolutely gorgeous. Water depth never dropped below 20' and averaged 30 to 40' the whole stretch. I even saw 60'! on a river! Turned around one time mid day and never passed the same boat.

    Spit shined so bright

And this here is my Favorite shot. Apparently there was professional photographer in another boat on the river. I got in touch with the guy and hes going to send me a HQ picture but this is what I have for now.

    Oh so sweet!

Drove down the following weekend to the Brozos river in Waco. Another really cool spot with very little boat traffic.

      Hit 100hrs on this trip.

Baylor University's new football stadium right off the river

Wow 102 air temp at 6pm! That 230 looks so sweet. I'm a huge fan of river riding. 80% time its great. 10% of the time they are filled with logs and debris after a heavy rain, and 10% of the time they are chopped from boat traffic. I've been on rivers pretty much exclusively for the past 4 years. Just beware of combined sewer overflows after a heavy rain...

Thank you guys for all the complements. We are quite fortunate down here in the south to have such a long season. We are headed to either Waco or the Trinity this weekend. Haven't decided witch one yet.

Trip- Thanks! When the time comes and I have the HQ photo I will be submitting.

Dude-I have been quite careful out there. Before these two trips I never felt comfortable maneuvering through our local river spots. I don't think you can even put in right now, but when you can water depths never get above 20ft and average 10 to 15 and there is debris everywhere. Out at the Trinity the few logs we did see had been marked with orange life vest. I thought that was pretty cool.

ViSoR- The tint is 25% and I think its perfect. Any darker I feel it would be to hard to see at dusk. At night, forget about it. The speakers are 8s with your normal light rings. Nothing special about the grills.

migs- Here's an interior shot. I love the SeaDek!
These have been posted before but oh well.

It has been brought up before. In the above picture, That's the furthest the boats been backed in that drive way. The boat lives indoors at another location. I had just stopped off at my folks place to show off.

The Colorado River (North of the ICW) down in Matagorda is nice too, keep it in mind. There is a public ramp at FM 521 and the river. If you dont like it contact me and i can get you launched at our private ramp in the Selkirk Island subdivision where we are at. You will really like this river i think. Typcally 15-20 foot deep and no traffic this time of year...
