    Board Rack Can't Hold Skate

I just picked up a 2000 SAN and it came with board racks, except my wakeskate (my primary use) does not fit. I am a little bummed about this but was curious if people have this problem with the new racks? The board I am primarily using is a single deck but I have a bi-level I haven't brought out yet... it obviously won't fit. Any suggestions on board racks?

Curious as to what board racks yours came with since I don't think flight clips came along till later.

Ours came with wake design racks. I later added some monster tower racks for more boards. They all fit old school skates but not the thick molded or double deck boards.

Best option out there we use a lot are the Roswell surf racks. They have a board sized slot and a larger surf sized slot with a step down at the rear to hold multiple sized boards. The largest point of the surf slot is 2.5".

I'm thinking the "Flight Clips" may work for you, not sure about the double deck though. I could put an Inland Surfer surf board in my old Clips although it was a tight fit. You can also "stretch" the inner slot and perhaps even fit your double in there...

The "Menace" swivel board racks work great for me. You have a surf rack on the top that will more than likely hold your skate and a standard board rack on the bottom. The whole thing swivels in and is rubber coated to protect your boards.
