    PP Star Gazer Upgrade

I want to upgrade and install a PP Star Gazer WB in my 2002 SANTE. Would like some input on where to purchase online and the best price you found. Also if you did the install yourself,,,how did that go. With doing my homework so far it looks like a plug and play install because my Nauti already has a single line PP & paddle wheel. Thanks for your help.

I put SG in my '07 196LE for $270. I paid $90 for a new mulit-line display (which you'll need) and $30 for a new wiring harness from PP. I bought my master module / satellite puck from a guy on ski-it-again for $150. It's plug and play into the Faria gateway. The most tedious part was swapping the gauge. Extremely easy!

Thanks for the input. I already did the switch out from Telflex to Faria guages (RPM MPH) so I do have a feel for removing the dash. Also another question is,,, will the Star Gazer link up with my new Faria guages??

No it won't, you'll PP's multi line display. Your current speedo will still read from the paddle wheel though.

OK ty,,,,Im old school and it wasn't that difficult to keep a good pull speed.Im not in the course anymore so clicking the stop watch at the entrance buoy I don't do. I do like the new tech things so the Star Gazer will be fun and Im sure the pulls will be just fine. I like how you can program boarders different speeds,,,my memory dont have to think now,,lol.

Thanks, that was my '07. I loved that boat, but the red hull bottom was kind of hard to keep looking new. I was always buffing out trailer bunk rash.
