Doo it Ryan! Just curious who has G trailers that are running a 2" ball? I have always used solid cast drops with accompanying rated balls. My current 2-5/16" set up is rated at 12k trailer (and 1200 tongue if I remember correctly). That's a pretty sweet looking hitch setup and the anti rattle is awesome. I don't have rattle issues because as soon as I un hook a trailer I pull my hitch out and replace it with a receiver cover.

I got one of these bad boys a while back.

I didn't want to pay for some flashy hitch. This is the highest rated adjustable I ever seen too. 14,000 / 1,400
I don't have to worry about hitch rust as I take my hitch out every time just like Zach. I park in the garage; after hitting your shin on a hitch once you will learn that removing your hitch is easy.

It is good to see that people are noticing more then just the vehicle when towing. I rarely hear people checking to see if their ball, hitch, and receiver are rated for the weight. Just an example is that the 01-07 GM trucks factory receiver is only rated for 7,500 lbs. That is on the 3/4 and 1 ton trucks too. So if you are pulling a G boat with one of those trucks with the factory receiver you are over the rating.

Ha, I saw something one time that said God made shins so you could find trailer hitches in the dark.

I am really looking forward to the anti-rattle part... I'm sick of hearing the hitch back there clanking around when not towing whenever I hit a bump. I really dig the 1 key for everything... And wanted everything 100% locked.... I live in a bad town.

Kinda loosely talking to the local dodge dealer now on a 3/4ton Cummins diesel....we'll see.
Talked with mfg this morning and was very helpfully and I agree with your point based on his explanation.

I also have one more restriction on the GL350 there is a max distance between the center of the pin and the center of the ball of 7.5".
          I guess it's the Germans

I don't like the adjustables....I have 2 of these, one with a 2" ball and one with a 2 5/16" ball, the balls are both 12,000 pound rated.
