Anyone know anything about Trailmaster trailers and how they compare to Ramlin? Thanks.

Night and day in quality. How much are you going to trailer? If you are only going to put it in during spring and take it out in the fall, you are safe with a Trailmaster. If you are going to use it more than that, get a Ramlin. Some of the trailmasters don't have brakes on them and they don't have the anti-sway torsion axle that ramlin has. What I mean here is that when you are towing on the expressway, you have to go slower with a trailmaster becuase your load is swinging from side to side. An Eagle will do the same thing. Ramlin is made right at the CC factory and is essentially the old CC trailers with better rust protection. Also, with the trailmaster, you have to launch your trailer deeper to keep from hitting the prop on the trailer. Ramlin has no issues with that.
Basically, it comes down to how much you are going to trailer your boat.
Let me know if I can help you more.

Basically skinautique is correct.
The Trailmaster is a cheap trailer, that's all there is too it. This is perfectly fine for anyone that lives on a lake. However, if you do any trailering, you should go to the Ram-lin.
BTW, I still am not overly crazy about Ram-lins in general. They are extremely expensive, yet they still aren't that great in such areas... They still use wood with carpet on it that promotes rust. Why not use HDPE? They also don't have very good rust protection. They start to rust if left outside within a few months.
I am curious what other options are out there. I know on the west coast it is different but on the east coast the only other options are Prestige, Eagle, and Boatmate. Boatmate is the one that intrigues me the most. I know they just started offering trailers for Nautiques and what people thought of them?2001 Pro Air Nautique

I agree with skinautique on trailmaster also!! I have been looking at trailers four about 6 months now after a issue with my prestige as
stated in previous posts. I have thought about Trail rite their out of
california very expensive to ship to Pa. Right now I'm going with a boatmate talked to several owners they love them!! Many great options trailer can go as high as $4800.00 for a tandem, I wouldn't go back to a single axle trailer!! Boatmate has been fitted to nautiques with a
actual boat in their possesion. You can also buy directly from boatmate!!
American boat center uses this trailer under all their boats and speaks highly of them!!Any questions call and talk to Ryan at American boat
center. I have nothing bad to say about Ramlin, but my situation is a little different because my wife puts my boat on the trailer and I need a pullet proof trailler, but the bottom line is how much are you going to use the trailer as skinautique stated also!!2004 Ski 206 Limited,Midnight Blue and Black,
