    I wouldn't be surprised if
    They follow
    The automotive and start having
Some sort of hybrids. I know they Did have that electric nautique a few years ago and everything went quiet
On that. Also, potential for more use of materials on a ski specific boat sick as carbon fiber etc.
To make it even lighter and a smaller wake. New
Hull designs to even eliminate bow wakes....check

I bet some of this reduced wake technology would take care of the fuel savings issue. After all, it takes fuel to make these huge wakes.

I think it would be cool to see a second 3 event boat. I love how Nautique is always on the cutting edge of the market. It just saddens me that these announcements are very rarely for 3 event people. It seams like 80% of all the major announcements have to do with the wake boats.

The G series boats are amazing, just not for me. I do however enjoy being part of the family that is constantly innovating in every market it belongs to.
Well said, I totally agree. The idea of a "budget" boat is out of the question, however something in the mid to upper $40's could potentially be possible? After 2 years in a 200 now, it's an incredible boat, but jumping back into a 196 is always a pleasure. They're just so different that I definitely think there's a place for a new, similar boat. I hope they sell a ton of G's and SA's, perhaps leaving some investment funds around to do just that.

as long as interest rates stay low (15-20 year terms) and people continue to pay these prices then the boats will steadily climb in price.

              Jeff,
thanks for all the pics and reports. This G21 looks great and will be a big hit in the market place filling a void between the 210, 230 and G23...

Also for those discussing a new ski boat, maybe start a new thread as opposed to posting here in an intro thread for the G21?

Fortunately I do not live in an area where boat length is limited... Unfortunately, my shed door is only 8ft... Fortunately/Unfortunately, I will never be able to afford a G21. Unless someone wants to buy my 2012 210 for a G21 price... Loaded with every single option (and NSS).

I was at OWC on Sunday. Our local rep said it was a 21.5' with 6" out of bow and 12" out of cockpit area (vs the G23). Just an FYI to all looking.

I will say that in person, 12" out of cockpit area feels significant when you have spent time in a G23.

I had been considering an X25 but waiting to see the specs on the G21. If it can't get under an 8' door, I'll likely have to take it out of the equation. As far as modifying the garage doors, I've done that too. Used to be 7' but I increased it to 8' due to current boat. I live an South Florida and building codes are such that it's not an easy modification! Plus, it had to be done to three doors because (before I even went to the HOA) the wife would not let me have one 8 footer and two 7s. I have three 8 foot doors and I'm not going through that again. So if there's no way to get a G21 under the 8' limit, my choice may be made for me.

Not saying its a perfect solution.... but this does work for those of you who want a G21, but it not being garagable make it not feasible....this can take another 6-10" or more off the height to slide a G21 inside a garage.

Heavy duty caster wheel U bolt mouted as close to the end of the swing away as possible.

Back it in 1/2 way into the garage, right before the tower would hit. Remove trailer from vehicle, drop down on the caster using a floor jack. Push it in the last 10ft by hand.

Yes, that'd be a 2 man push and a PITA. But 100% doable. Would help if you have a slight decline heading down to your garage.

I used to do this boat by myself and I am not superman. Definitly not trying to convince anyone to buy a G21.... but provide info that there are other feasbile methods when the garage can not be made taller when its a necessity.

looks sweet, can't wait to own one in about 10-15 years. i guaran****tee i'd find a way to get it in the garage if this boat were in the mix. you people complaining need to get a little creative. i'd rig up a garden tractor with a hitch ball connected to the 3 point hitch to lower it almost to the ground. the caster wheel is a good idea.

Or buy a 150$ engine hoist from harbor freight and attach that to the trailer tongue while moving it back into position. Trust me, if the only thing in owning a G series boat is 3" of garage height, I would certainly believe that you can find a way. It is most definitely worth it.
