I would only suggest Ramlin. Top notch construction and wall thickness on frames. Also one of the only trailer (as I understand) that allow you to tow legally due to width concerns in many states.

We run primarily Phoenix. Adam (Nautique rep) runs Boatmate. I like the simple look of Phoenix. You can order Boatmate to look simple but most of the time they have lots of gaudy features on it. Ramlin is a pain to deal with on the dealer side. The lack of guide poles (for towing width) is just goofy.Zach@n3boatworks.com

Agree with the lack of guide poles, but the 230 and get boats are over legal width limits with guide poles. Unfortunately the trailer manufacturer isn't telling people this.

I really liked my Ram-Lin that I had under last year's PN G23. No guide poles (so it is legal), but it does have the lower guides, which are just as good, and look better in my opinion. They sit narrower than the rubrail, so they don't make the whole package any wider.

I have a boatmate and have been happy with it. Seems solid, love the front boarding steps, creates a walkway from the bed of the truck into the boat.
The guide posts are pinned in place, so they can easily be removed and thrown in the back of the truck if you are worried about over width laws or for me it allows it to fit more easily in my garage.
Had a Ramlin trailer for 10 years on a 210. No trouble with it at all, grease the hubs was all I ever did to it.

I've had two boat mate trailers these last two seasons and for the most part, they were both great. I've only had two issues - 1. The brake actuator got screwed up and would not release on the first one. 2. The electronic mechanism that frees the brakes in reverse didn't work on the second one. Other than that they've been problem free. The front stairs are really handy.2018 SAN G23 XR550

Our ramlin has been great so far. In the wind these G's tend ti get sideways quickly and I'll tell you that the tracking fin can get onto the rear bunks quickly.ioo
We had to do a mid season carpet repair.
IMHO, this happened when the boat was half off the trailer coming off and boat guides wouldn't have helped as the widest part of the boat was already off the trailer.
This is only a problem because the back of these boats is so flat on the bottom.2013 G23 450

I've had 2 Boatmates under 2 g23s. I'd give them A-.
the fit of a Boatmate to a G23 is the best I have ever seen, hence why it made me confident enough to order a G with a black hull. ZERO run marks from the trailer on the hull. Before this, I thought bunk marks where just part of trailering, not so, get the right fit and you won't get marks.
Both trailers required zip ties to secure some wiring that would work itself loose, and the last one to keep the rear LED from falling out, rubber grommet that hold the LED would suck out when you pull the boat up the ramp out of the water. Minor, but sloppy QAQC. This last trailer was delivered with NO brake fluid in the lines. Dangerous and sloppy. I found Boatemate customer service to be slow and arrogant in getting ridiculous stuff like this fixed.
Contruction, looks and functionality - A
QAQC and customer service - C
for $5k, I'd consider buying another.2019 G23 450
