Ski 200 water in battery comparent

Does anyone else have issues with water coming into their battery compartment? It seems like it is the lowest place in the boat and whenever any water gets in my bilge it seems to works it's way to the battery. Does anyone know what's underneath the battery compartment or in front of it... I'm just wondering of there is a cavity in their that is wet and going to become rancid. Does the floor panel between the battery and bow come up?

Floor panel does come up... It still seems like there is a cavity around the battery compartment that is probably wet and not accessible... I just don't understand why CC put a space that water can get to but cannot be towelled off...

I had a decent plug in the drain but I'm thinking more along the lines of eliminating water from being underneath the battery compartment. I was think about putting silicone in the bilge where water seeps forward
