Should be in the owners manual.
Not sure if they have changed the warranty, was/is Boat 5yrs & Motor 3yrs for quite some time.

Would imagine LINK should be under the 5yr side.

I believe LINK is 3 years. I think it is specified outside of the 5 year promise.

I'm planning on selling my 220SANTE to upgrade to a 230 and reading all the info on the LINC sytem is making me a little nervous.

I delayed my upgrade a bit too because of fear of the LINK. Eventually I talked myself into it because of how nice the new boats are.

Also I thought of all the non-marine grade car stereo equipment I used over the years and had little trouble with. If non marine grade electronics will last 5 years, the LINK should last until I upgrade again.

            LINC is 3 years

A few '12s have had screens go black. Usually a power cycle gets it working again but Nautique should relpace it within the warranty period. They did for me at least.
My screen only went black twice within 400 hours

All the switches, and gauges on my 1997 Ski Nautique, with 2509 hours still work fine.
Somehow, I think they will still be working when 7 to 10 year old link systems start going bad, and are NLA.
Remember the Teleflex digital gauge fiasco?

Daniel, Linc screens will be around for a long time. Its the new wave everyone is using it and they are used in far greater numbers in industrial applications VS the boat world. Boats are a very small share of their market with these control screens. They have been used for years before they were introduced into a marine application. That being said, I still like analog gauges . Every one of my original 86 VDOs still work great and don't look to bad for living a very rough life.

Can you pls clarify>>a power cycle go it working>>>>>>>>>>>>>does this mean disconnct battery and re connect?

i re checked all my wiring, tightened and cleaned grounds on engine and LINC, unplugged and plugged harness's and low and behold the screen booted up and everything works, however i am afraid to turn off engine in lake in case it dies again and i cant re start!

if engine is running , engine will not cut out if LINC subsequently dies..however will not start if LINC is dead

If you are switching the boat on and the screen does not load, you will have one of the blue LED's on the keypad flashing. Simply press the stop button and power down, press start once, waiting till the screen loads and press start again to activate the ignition. 99.9% of the this is caused by the start cycle missing the screen.
If you get nothing at all it can be fixed with a simple software update.

No worries, you get 10% with planetnautique discount. Since it is not a wear it out item like the vinyl, and it is not something that you abuse like not changing the oil or something, I think they should warranty it a whole lot longer. A longer warranty would prove they think it is tried and true. What a game changer it would be with like a 5 or 10 year electronics warranty.

That's strange. I haven't heard of not being able to start the boat before. Usually the problem is the screen goes black so you don't have access to ballast/cruise but the start/stop/bilge/blower/nav lights could still be turned on using the other buttons. Sounds like you're losing power to your entire dash. I don't know how to fix that.

If it was just your screen going black, power cycling usually would get it working again. Meaning, turn battery off, then on, hit start twice. If screen doesn't say "booting..." in top left, it didn't work. I would just repeat this proccess and after a few times it would usually work. I did have one instance where it didn't turn on for 15 minutes. That's when I decided to get my screen replaced under warranty and now I have no issues.

I tried power cycling thing ten times and it didnt re boot. If screen is black/dead then ignition lights do come on (bilge/ horn) but engine cannot crank all is dead.

i tighened everything up and screen came back to life.

in you case did you just replace the screen AND NOT the Power module black box under the dash?
