Spinner Rack Powder Coat is Failing

The powder coat on my spinner racks is starting to bubble. These are the stock racks that came with my 200V and the boat has never been near salt water. Has anyone else had this happen? My picture isn't great but you can get the idea. The bubbling is actually in several spots on both racks.

I have this on my tower speakers and board racks. It is true I use the boat on saltwater but I have only had the boat half a year and wash everything all the time.

the paint isn't failing, it's the metal underneath forming rust and lifting the paint.

You are probably correct. I'm waiting to hear back from the local dealer to see if it is covered under warranty. It's disappointing to have this problem with an 8 month old boat.

My bet is they will cover it. I had a similar issue and they covered it.

I noticed similar bubbles on the base of my tower this fall when I was winterizing my '13 sport 200v. Looks like an issue to report to my dealer also.

Want to fix a new boat? No but it's not powder, it's paint and an easy fix.
