    Solo boating

Who all else goes solo boating? I go half the time. Personally I really enjoy it when I get the chance. It's very relaxing nothing like hearing the engine, water, and the wind. You can go at the pace you would like to go at. It really is not at all stressful.

I go a few times a year really enjoy it. Wish I had an older boat with a simple stereo and straight dual exhaust. Nice and simple.

No that's not me at all. Maybe I should be more clear as in driving the boat and being in it by myself.

when I'm meeting someone at the lake I like getting out early and enjoy the peace for a few. Took my son and dog to the lake one day last year and just puttered all the way up and back down the lake. in addition to the peace, it was the best photo day I had.

Yep. I will go 3 or 4 times a year for a couple of hour or a half day. It's nice having the boat to yourself once in a while.

I am a teacher so i have all summer off and all my buddies work till like 4 so i will often just take the boat out and read a book or plan lessons on the water. It is about the best.

Love getting up around 7 in the morning or so over the summer and cursing up and down the lake on glass.

hmm, sounds like letting off steam instead of soaking it in

I used to do it more with our old boat, dual exhaust (open no mufflers!) Python engined boat. Nice early morning cruise w/coffee was great!

I always enjoy sitting in the boat and just letting it idle.

I usually ski on a tiny lake with only 1 or 2 fisherman. So it's always nice when you let your partner go grab the truck and trailer while you just sit there looking at the sunset and listen to her rumble. (Quite lakes are the best!)

I almost never use my radio; I wouldn't really care if I didn't even have one. I would much rather listen to the sound of a GT-40 then the classic rock station.

Nothing better. Low 20mph, nobody out on lake, early morning. Just the sound of the motor purring, grateful for life in general. Unfortunately, with wife and son, don't get to do it that much. We're usually out skiing, boarding, etc. We'll usually take sunset cruises, and everyone usually finds their own space and enjoys it together. Nothing better! Gotta be in a Nautique though!

All the time. This summer it was hard finding crew when I had last minute openings in my schedule so I just grabbed the Ski Nautique and headed to the slalom course on my own. Grabbed a crew off the dock took my ski ride then headed back home alone listening to my tunes. Very relaxing afternoon. I have become efficient launching it by myself as well. I can beat the typical launch ramp wally with full crew almost every time.
