Prop and Ballast for 2001 210 SAN

Hey Guys. I was curious what props and aftermarket ballast you guys are using on your older SANs (pre 2006). If you took out the hard ballast and replaced with sacks, did you go with 750s or 1110s?

    750's in the back,
    600 in the locker,
integrated bow sac in the front,
then whatever else you want to fill by hand 60:40 on the seats
most people push it with an acme 1578

Congrats on the 2001 210 SAN if you just got her.

Thanks Rob. I'm currently looking into her. Haven't pulled the trigger yet. Looking to see how much more in 'add ons' I'll be spending when it's all said and done.

If you have any questions about her, post the info on here with the pics and people will be
happy to help. I've never heard of anyone stealing a boat out from under someone who
        posted it.

I like the 2000 and 2001 model years because they have the FCT2 tower already on them
and once you get rid of those tanks, you've got a clean slate for a custom system.

Unfortunately, the digital gauges (model years 2000-2002) will be bad and you can never
tell how many hours they really have.

I believe 2001 was the last solid year of GT-40 engines. I think they ran out during 2002
and it was replaced by the 5.7 L smallblock chevy engine after that.

        Good Luck!

750s in the rear. 600 in the belly.

I don't run any in the bow. I used to have about 400 lbs of pop bags up there. However, I never use my ballast anymore (other than to even out the wake), because all I ever do is foil now.

I don't have a specific one picked out yet, just looking at the market. If I find a specific one, I'll let you know.

If you can find a super sport from 95-01 it is the same boat as the SAN but doesnt come with tower, ballast, or perfect pass. All those things can be added later if you want them. Just an fyi.

              Great boat
