    230 Ski Wak

Ok....after deliberation and plenty of unbiased....well ok....biased feedback, I am looking at the SAN 230. With that being said it is now a sell to the wife. She is a recreational slalom skier and I enjoy getting out the ski and just pulling a few sets behind the boat. How much of a bump and is it skiable? I know thats a loaded question...I'm not looking for a tourney ski wake, but I don't want to feel like we have to jump the wake either. I ski shorter than her at about 34mph and she is closer to 28-30 long lined. I also want to teach the kids to ski as well as board and surf.

    As alwys....I appreciate everyones feedback!!

only way to answer that is to try it. All depends on what you're used to. Sorry for lack of specifics but it's your opinion that counts. Or more specifically your wife's ;D

    Welcome to the family!

I slalom occasionally, and the 230 wake for skiing is big! I love our 230 for everything else. If skiing is on the wife's list, better look at the 210! Plus a 210 will be closer to your originally stated budget...

I ski all the time behind my 230. I have taught several kids to ski behind it as well. There sure is an abundant power to get anyone up on a slalom ski versus any I/O. Yes, there's a bump, but you can go out on any day and have fun skiing behind the boat. The 230 is a great all purpose family boat. Good Luck and have fun with your 230!
