    Trailer Question

Can anyone confirm if a 2000 Ramlin Trailer will correctly fit a 1981 Ski Nautique hull???

Depends what you want to do with it. Will the boat physically fit on it? Yes. Will the trailer be a lot longer and wider than necessary, making it very difficult to load the boat onto it, and almost impossible to get the tongue weight correct? Yup.

I'd pass and hold out for an appropriate sized #3 trailer, 1983 or earlier.

If you don't end up buying it can you let me know where it's for sale. I'm looking for a trailer for my 2000 super air nautique. Thanks

I am guessing the trailer in question is the one that is on the Craigslist Finds thread on Correctcraftfan.com. If it is then that trailer is for a sport nautique. Your Super Air would technically fit on that trailer but the axle for a v-drive trailer is much further aft than one for a direct drive to support the different engine locations so I don't think it would trailer very well for you.

Agreed. A direct drive trailer cannot be used for a v-drive without significant modifications. Tongue weight will be all sorts of wrong, resulting in a very dangerous situation.
