I just bought my first nautique, a 210 and I need a little help. The last owner listed it as a 2009 but when the registration arrived it was registered as a 2008. When he sent the invoice over from when he bought the boat new it was listed as a 2009 being sold in October of 2008. He said it was the boat used for the nautique catalogue and sent a video link from the nautique website showing them going through the boat. My question is, what year boat do I have? Thanks for any help. I have uploaded some pictures.

You can see which month yours was made. Sounds like your hull was made with the '08 run but the boat was fitted with the '09 gear. There's no difference in the hull 08 v. 09...but you might be thinking it'll affect you on resale?Previous boats:
2015 G23
2008 SAN 210
2002 XStar
1995 Sport Nautique

Yes about resale but I was also worried about ordering parts for the boat or doing any work what would I call it 08 or 09. But if you are saying there is no difference I am not sure that would matter that much. Thanks for all the help. The boat is awesome whatever year but just wanted to make sure I am calling it correctly.

Great looking boat and congrats! It has the 09 tower and deck stripe so even if the hull stamp says it's an 08 it still has all of the 09 features that most buyers would be looking for.
Just found the below table to help figure out the month codes. Realized my boat was build in September of 98 and was likely one of the first Python Super Sports/Super Airs to roll off the floor.
KEY TO MONTH OF PRODUCTION OF NEW FORMAT:
A -January D-April G-July J-October
B -February E-May H-August K-November
C -March F-June I-September L-DecemberShawn
2012 Blue Metal Flake SAN 230
1999 Black and Tan Python 502 Powered Super Sport (for Sale)

The hull id can be deciphered to read the manufacturers name (CTC), model year & model (80), number made of that model (216), mold used, month of mfg, and year.'08 196LE (previous)
'07 196LE (previous)
2 - '06 196SE's (previous)

My guess is that the hull went through and was stamped with an 08 number, but then when they put the deck on it was all 09 stuff. The tower, black speaker grills, and deck stripe are all stuff from the 09 year. It's not seen from your pictures but another change from 08 to 09 was in the dash. The 08's had white gauge faces, the 09's went to black. I'm pretty sure that the electronics from 08 and 09 are all the same from a parts standpoint. 2010 is when they went to the first LINC system.
PS, can I get a pull on Folsom Lake next season (if theres water). The mother-in-law lives in Folsom and we will probably visit sometime this summer.2012 SANTE 210 (it's official)
2008 SANTE 210
