    Swap transmission in 2013 G?

Anyone know if you can swap the 1.48 ratio transmission in the 2013s for a 2.0 transmission? Did the prop angle, through hull angle, or position change?

    Thx.

If they didn't change the brand of the vdrive then most likely nothing else would have to change. Changing the strut wouldn't be that much more work if you needed to do that. Biggest thing is a new vdrive will probably run between $4 and 5000 and labor will probably be close to $1000. I'm figuring a day plus a few hrs for that if they had to pull the motor for the strut. Probably have to do about 3/4's of that work to get the vdrive out.

4k$ to achieve the type of performance that is being reported.... If a tranny swap is possible....would be well worth it IMO.

especially for those with the 409 Gs.

don't forget to add $1200 for the 17" prop

Agreed if rpms at 23mph with full ballast are the same or less.
