I am trying to replace the 4 speakers on my '99 SAN. I read that you have to take the side panels off to do so. I can't seem to find the screws to remove the right side panel. Can anyone provide insight?
Side panels? The coaming pads on both port and stbd are held in place with nuts & bolts, you would be looking for nuts that can be removed with a 7/16" wrench.
On my 01 SAN the bolts are the exact same on each side, i think there are like 7 on the port and 4-5 on the Starboard. I frequently take mine out for cleaning. The speaker change is really easy. The marine clarions sound great if you put enough power to them and add a sub.
They're there. I just did this yesterday. Move your seat bases out of the way so you can get up there. You will see studs with a big washer and a nut on them. I forget how many there were, maybe 7-8. Take out your cup holder to get to the front-top one.
