Compare/Contrast Jeep/Acura as Tow Vehicles?

Does anyone have any experiences with an Acura MDX as a Tow Vehicle or a late Model 2012-2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Acura is rated for 5000 lbs and Jeep (v6) is rated for 6500 lbs, but I am looking for some real world feedback for anyone who might have used these units.

I don't have low towing involved... Primarily under 5 miles from Storage Unit to lake.. I have a 2008 Sv 211 with Dual Axle Trailer.

Ok, sorry not too much experience. We just traded in mid last season mercedes ml320 which was rated for 5000 and got the 2014 grand cherokee. It was fine for just the little we did. I heard but could not confirm that it is same chasis as the ml350.

ML and Grand Cherokee are the same chassis. ML is rated to 7200lbs. I tow my 230 with an ML 550. I would go with the Grand Cherokee over the Acura but that's just my opinion. I haven't towed or been in either.
