    Adding Docking Lights

I was going to add docking lights to my 03 210 this winter. I've already searched and found out that the wiring is already up in the bow for the docking lights. The OEM nautique ones from any dealer seem to run 400/pair. I went out to see who the manufacturer was for some of the other lights on the boat and it seemed to be Innovative Lighting. Does anyone know if these are the nautique docking lights, or if they are significantly different from them? If they'll work, then I'd rather spend 100/pair.

    Thanks for any help!

It looks like you can swap led bulbs into the oem housings. Also, there are a couple led docking lights made by attwood, innovative lighting and others.

        Adding Docking Lights

I know they cost twice as much, but the LED versions look much better and you wouldn't have to cut nearly as big a hole. http://shop.innovativelight.com/shop...yIDs=6287,6293

May also want to look at the LED lights Nautique installs on the new boats now. The Attwood lights look to be the same as what Nautique is using now and are less expensive than the Innovative Light offerings. http://www.iboats.com/Attwood-Surfac...view_id.796839

I don't know how bright the LEDs are compared to halogen, but they look much better to my eye.

Those are a simple m16 bulb. Maybe 5 bucks for an led version on ebay.

Yep, mr16, i think. what sucks about those innovative lights is that the 3 little springs that hold the light in break after a while and then you can't hook another one on. . . I am not a huge fan.

They look nice, but I can't find any pics of them installed on a boat. Plus I think I'll go with the halogen ones to look like they came with the boat.

Awesome! Thanks. I just ordered them. I'm probably going to pickup some LEDs and swap out the bulbs before I install them.

I'm only adding these for looks. if they're anything like tower lights, then they'll reflect back off the water and blind me vs actually helping me see.

That better? You may be able to find them for cheaper on ebay too.
