boat cover doesnt fit - shrinking ????

my boat cover has really shrunk to the point it doesnt fit...

has this happended to anybody else ?" is this normal ??? i spoke with my dealer and he said it was because wasnt put back on the boat "wet"..

i kinda find this hard to believe since it was a "upgraded" cover

any suggestions ???

Hmm... Does this mean your dealer said the cover should or should not have been put on the boat wet? I'd expect the dealer to say that it shrunk b/c you put the cover on wet, not "b/c wasn't put on 'wet'".

What kind of cover do you have? I have a custom Sunbrella one and it has been thrown on the ground for days, soaked in the rain, and then put on the boat and is still in great condition--have never had a problem w/ it, as in no shrinkage or anything. It is 100% water resistant and everything... best cover I've ever seen.
